Hey there, long time no see!! I'm hoping to be back up and running soon with regular posts!! But in the meantime I just had to remind everyone that tonight (finally!!) is the third season premiere of my beloved Veronica Mars. Love it!! This year of course Veronica heads to Hearst College and meets some new people (do I dare say friends?) Piz and Parker and I'm sure we'll meet plenty new shady characters up to no good. Here is the official info on tonight's episode.

FIRST DAY OF COLLEGE – Veronica (Kristen Bell) is in true form from the moment she and boyfriend Logan (Jason Dohring), along with close friends Wallace (Percy Daggs III) and Mac (Tina Majorino), set foot on the campus of Hearst College. Wallace enlists Veronica’s help when his new roommate, Piz (Chris Lowell), has all his belongings stolen. While working on Piz’s case, Veronica learns that the campus serial rapist has struck again. Meanwhile, Keith (Enrico Colantoni) runs into trouble while transporting a recently released convict across the country to reunite him with Kendall (guest star Charisma Carpenter, “Charmed”).

Now for all you tv lovers out there who haven't gotten hooked on VM yet or have given it a try but didn't love it (that was hard to type!!) I have good news. Rob Thomas the creator of the show said this episode is like VM 101, so it should get you up to date with the history of the characters and ease you in slowly into the world of VM. Definitely give it a try, you will not regret it!!

Tonight I'll be on a plane from DC to Chicago during the premiere of the show but you can bet that I will make a mad dash to a television set the second I get off the plane.

Please don't forget to watch tonight even if you've already seen it online (I'm holding out for the actual premiere) it's on at 9/8 C on The CW network and follows Gilmore Girls!!

The CW should be airing this promo, it's excellent!! I highly recommend passing this on to your friends as a way to get them interested in VM rather than trying to explain the show. I can never explain the show in a way that makes people want to watch, I always miss the mark somehow. Anyway, check this out!

Here I Am!!

Wow, it's been a while!! I just wanted to let you all know that I'm alive and well. My summer has just been busier than anticipated and that coupled with a broken computer has made updating much harder than I anticipated.

Is everyone enjoying the crazy summer tv season? I'm still just so excited that Project Runway started up again, it looks like it's bound to be an interesting season for PR. I highly recommend checking it out on Wednesdays at 9/10 C on Bravo. Good stuff!!

Besides trashy summer reality tv I've been watching season 1 of Felicity via Netflix. It took me a little while to warm up to the show but now I love it. I only have 1 ep to go before I can start season 2.

Summer ends on Monday for a lot of the cast and crew of our favorite tv shows, they need to get back to work to make sure we are highly entertained this fall!! New episodes will be here before we know it!

I hope to start updating more often so keep checking back!!!

The Hills are alive...

I've been meaning to post about MTV's new guilty pleasure The Hills for a long time. The Laguna Beach spin-off finally premiered on Wednesday night. I missed it on Wed but caught it in one of the many repeats that MTV is infamous for. This show is so bad that it's good, and hopelessly addicting. The Hills is supposed to be a reality show following former Laguna Beach cast mate Lauren Conrad to LA as she starts fashion school and lands an internship at Teen Vogue. There is no way that Lauren would have gotten her internship if she didn't have an MTV camera crew following her. Her interview was incredibly painful to watch, even more painful to watch is her new roomate Heidi. This girl is not the brightest bulb in the box!!! During an interview with her fashion school dean Heidi expresses an interest not in fashion but in partying, she also mentions that she never went to class in high school and didn't care. Way to impress them Heidi!! Oh I could go on forever about this show and how obvious the many scripted parts are!! With that said, I definitely plan on watching this show every Wed night, it's too much fun to miss and to easy to make fun of!!

Hard to say goodbye

It finally hit me this week that Everwood is actually ending on Monday (tomorrow ahh!) I am going to miss this show so so much!! And to make matters worse the only season on DVD is season 1 (don't get me started). The only good news to come out of Everwood's cancellation is that the WB has given them a 2 hour series finale. Finally the WB gives them the respect that this show deserves. I feel like I should be saying a lot more about this show but for right now I'm kind of speechless. For right now I'm just excited about two whole hours of Everwood, once it ends I'll worry about missing it then. Here's to hoping that the finale is such a success that the CW comes to its senses and brings back this classic show (ala 7th Heaven, again don't get me started.)

Disappearing Act

I haven't been around in a while but don't worry I'm alive and well. All my shows are ending so I'm in mourning for the summer and won't be posting as often. I do plan on posting about Monday's episode of Everwood and the series sad demise. So stay tuned!!

TVGuide's Michael Ausiello is reporting that VM has been officially renewed for a 22 episode season. Happy happy joy joy!!! Of course with great news comes horrible news, Everwood is a goner. Why why why!!!!!!!

It's Official: Veronica Mars Renewed, Everwood Dead Straight from the horse's mouth, Rob Thomas just e-mailed me to confirm that Veronica Mars has been renewed for a third season. The show got a 22-episode order that, depending on ratings, can be reduced to 13. Very reliable sources, meanwhile, are also telling me that One Tree Hill will be back and Everwood is, in fact, dead. Talk about injustice.

Until Thursday I'm still going to hold out hope for Everwood!!

Mars Anatomy?

Ok let's talk Grey's for a second. I'm hearing some very mixed reviews of the 3 hour season finale. I for one thought it was awesome. I suppose there were parts I had problems with but I'll get into that later.

First off was that Vinnie VanLowe and Veronica's journalism teacher that I saw on Sunday night? That's what I thought! I had a hard time identifying Vinnie without his Members Only jacket but it was him. What is going on with all these Veronica castmembers showing up on Grey's? First we had Duncan, then Vinnie and V's teacher and then yesterday Ms. Jackie Cooke herself shows up as the Chief's dying niece. It's kind of fun recognizing all these actors!!

Ok now we can dish. Please tell me I wasn't the only one crying for like half of this episode. I'm admit I'm a wuss but wow there was a lot going on. Strangely enough what really got me going were the scenes with Doc (MerDer's dog) And I don't even have a dog, in fact I've never had a dog or even a cat for that matter. I don't know why that scene got me so bad but it really did.

The Emmy's are going to be mighty interesting this year. While I still think Kristen Bell deserves the Emmy more than anyone, Katherine Heigl is going to be giving her a run for her money!! The scene after Denny died with her on the bed in her prom dress with him. Holy cow that was intense. She acted the hell out of the whole episode but that scene was just crazy. I love how Alex was the only one who could calm her down. There are her 3 best friends standing there unable to do anything and this guy she hates is able to not calm her down but kind of comfort her I guess. You gotta give Alex credit for having some compassion, he could have walked away and said I told you so, but of course he didn't. I have to say Izzie is easily my favorite character and if she leaves I'm going to be so sad. I'm anxiously awaiting Shonda Rhimes to post on the Grey Matters blog so she can clear up whether or not Katherine Heigl is leaving the show.

MerDer MerDer MerDer. I have to say I've been a MerDer fan for a while, but when McDreamy got angry and nasty he lost me. He was always so laid back and fun and easy-going and then this wave of rage comes over him and suddenly he's not so McDreamy anymore. I would have been jumping up and down if MerDer hooked up before McDreamy turned nasty but instead I was just kind of neutral about them doing the deed. I was relieved that the sexual tension was gone but I wanted Meredith to be with McDreamy not mean Dr. Shepherd. And poor Finn, he's so darn cute, cuter than Dr. Shepherd I dare say and he wants to be with Meredith. Really, really wants to be with her and I just feel so bad for him. He had no idea what he was walking into when he started treating Doc. And as a MerDer fan this is hard for me to say but I felt so bad for Addison, she tries so hard. Ok enough of my MerDer rant but I will say this I hope she picks Finn. She knows it's the right decision!!

Burke and Cristina, they have problems. That's the understatement of sweeps. I hated Cristina this episode, she was such a baby. What the heck happened to her. She has some major redeeming to do. For now, she's not my favorite.

Ok this is getting really long but what happened to George? I realized last night that I don't love George like I used too. Ever since he started dating Callie he never smiles anymore. When was the last time we saw George smile? It's been forever!! He's not as cute and fumbly as he used to be either. I don't know what happened but I used to think George was the cutest thing ever and I always felt bad for him, now he borderline annoys me. I hope he goes back to his old self next year.

So I think I about covered it, it felt good to let loose on this show! Whooo! In other Grey's news ABC has announced it is moving Grey's to Thursdays. I'm completely fine with this move as long as none of my other beloved shows get moved to that timeslot. Right now I'm just hoping all my shows return!!

Rumors!!

There are a lot of rumors floating around on the world wide web about the fate of our favorite shows. Too be honest none of the rumors are great surrounding my favs Veronica Mars and Everwood. The word on the street is that VM will be picked up Thursday for 13 episodes by the new CW network. While I should be very happy that VM is being picked up at all I'm a little upset by this. I'm mostly upset because I've been led to believe that VM was a "lock" to be picked up for a full season. If only 13 episodes are ordered then it's a lot easier to cut ties completely with the show if it underperforms this fall. But for right now I am thankful that we should be seeing the return of VM for at least a little while this fall.

I hate to say it but the news regarding VM is the good news that I have to share with you all. The bad news is that things aren't looking too hot for family fave Everwood. It appears thatthe CW's surprise move to pick up 7th Heaven even after it's lukewarm series finale (yes series finale the show was supposed to be done) has pushed Everwood off the schedule and it probably is done for good. This is such a quality show and it could even take the place of the family drama 7th Heaven on the CW network, Everwood is a pretty wholesome show. But it looks like the execs at the CW have decided to give tired 7th Heaven another run. I'm currently watch the 1st season of Everwood via Netflix and this show has been solid for it's entire 4 year run. I really don't think there is anything the producers could have done differently.

That being said none of these "rumors" will be official until Thursday at the CW upfronts. So keep your fingers and toes crossed until then!!

Noooooooo!!!

No, no, no! This was not how it was supposed to go down. The Beav (I'm sorry Cassidy) is too cute and innocent to be an evil mastermind, mass murderer and rapist. What the heck!!! This is too much. Poor Beav. It's not really Beaver's fault that he is so messed up and twisted though is it? I feel completely fine placing all the blame on Woody Goodman, he should go to jail. Oh wait Beaver blew up his plane!!

Wow, what a freaking amazing episode. This show does not disappoint!! I'm going to hold off on talking too much about it until I see it again (or 12 more times!!) This episode crammed in so much, my mind is still processing it all. The only minor complaint I have about the episode is the LoVe stuff. That came out of the blue!! When the heck did they have time to get together between watching Cassidy (poor Beav) self destruct and kill himself and dealing with the death of both of their dads. What the? But for now I'm going to put that aside and do a little happy dance that they're together again.

Also am I the only one who is not terribly intrigued by what's in Kendall's briefcase? I'm sure it will start to gnaw at me as the summer wears on but for now it pales in comparison to last year's cliffhanger.

Today's the Day!!

The day is finally here, the Veronica Mars season finale will air tonight. Right at this moment I'm beyond excited but I know the second the show is over I'm going to plunge into a deep depression because I'll be without VM for months on end! But for now I can't wait!! All the critics who have seen tonight's episode already have said it's crazy and unbelievable. Kristin Veitch over at E!Online said she watched it three times, and she hasn't done that since the Felicity finale! Here is the episode summary from UPN:

"Not Pictured" -- After learning the identity of the perpetrator responsible for the bus crash, Veronica hurries to warn others, but ends up putting herself in an extremely perilous situation, on the season finale of VERONICA MARS, Tuesday, May 9 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on UPN.

Meanwhile, Keith enlists Veronica's help in his ongoing investigation of Woody (guest star Steve Guttenberg) and asks her go undercover to get some vital information from Woody's lawyer. Later, when graduation day finally comes around, Neptune seniors celebrate at a huge party at the Neptune Grand.

The folks behind the Look to the Skies campaign which I detailed in my earlier post sent out mailings to CW execs today, particularly the all-powerful Dawn Ostroff head of the CW network. But these mailings were more than just post cards saying Save Veronica Mars they were all out care packages. Here are some details:

The following VM characters sent Veronica graduation bouquets c/o Dawn Ostroff, each with a message written in the voice of the character and each arriving on a different day: Keith, Wallace, Weevil, Logan, Duncan, Aaron, Gia, Lamb.

Care packages were sent to everyone who has been named in CBS or WB press releases as a future CW executive, as well as the top communications contacts at both networks and the more high profile/loyal people in the entertainment press. Each gift box contains a letter of recommendation from Veronica's guidance counselor; a Hearst College T-shirt, hat, and set of pom-poms; information about the plane's flight plan; and binoculars - to aid CW executives when they "LOOK TO THE SKIES" on Tuesday.

Pretty clever!! Let's hope it works!

No one can ever say that Veronica Mars fans aren't intensely loyal. Check out what a group of die-hard fans on the Television Without Pity boards have organized!!

"Look to the Skies" A dedicated group of VERONICA MARS fans is pulling out all the stops to support the show's move to the new CW network.Their biggest effort is ensuring that for two hours in the morning (8-10am) and two hours in the afternoon (4-6pm) on TUESDAY, MAY 9, the day of the VERONICA MARS season finale, "CW" will stand for something entirely different: CLOUD WATCHERS. Fans have hired a plane, banner in tow, to fly between the UPN offices in Los Angeles and the future site of the CW headquarters in Burbank. Should those in charge of the fictional private eye's future look to the skies for guidance, the message from her fans will be clear:"RENEW VERONICA MARS! CW 2006!"

When asked why the big gesture, the group's lead organizer said:"When I learned the fate of VERONICA MARS was once again up in the air, I decided to take a page out of Veronica's book and take action. Rather than passively wait for others to decide whether or not I would get another year of mind-blowing mysteries, I proposed something fun and splashy and out-there -- a last ditch, grassroots effort to save something I love dearly. It's clearly absurd, but that's why it has the potential to be effective. Some fandoms sign online petitions, VERONICA MARS fans send airborne messages!"The Cloud Watchers raised over $5000 - in just 4 days - from fans on various websites.

Once the plane was paid for, a significant portion of the remaining funds was used to purchase DVDs of the show's first season for libraries in major television markets across the country. As an alternative to monetary donations, the Cloud Watchers encouraged fans who wanted to contribute to purchase VERONICA MARS DVDs for their hometown libraries. Thanks to the combined efforts of these two drives, over 100 sets of DVDs - at a cost of $4000 - have been donated and accepted.

On MONDAY, MAY 8, care packages containing VERONICA MARS-inspired gifts, information about the plane's flight plan, and binoculars -- to aid decision makers when they look to the skies -- will be delivered to future CW executives, those in charge at the new network's parent companies, and influential people in the entertainment media. Fans are confident that these gestures will tip the scales in Veronica's favor.

A spokesperson explains:"VERONICA MARS is not going to be renewed for her ratings. The show is a critical success, but its network placement and constant preemptions have compromised its already fragile standings. What Veronica does have going for her, however, is a rabid fanbase. A loyal fanbase means a loyal following at a new network as it struggles to establish itself in a competitive market. If the CW brings Veronica with them to Burbank, we're following. We've even hired a plane to point other people in the right direction."

Wow! Even organizing one of those initiatives would have been impressive this group has managed to organize a DVD drive, mailings to CW executives and hiring a plane to fly for a combined total of four hours over busy California traffic. I'll post more details on each of these items and how you can get involved shortly!

And the winner is...

The Save One Show (SOS) results are in over at E!Online.com and the result is pretty shocking. Can you handle it? One Tree Hill won with 44% of the vote. I have to say I'm shocked! The good news is that Veronica Mars came in second. To read Kristin Veitch's column with the results and much more click here. Here is a rundown of the final five.

One Tree Hill - 44%
Veronica Mars - 32%
Supernatural - 14%
Everwood - 7%
What About Brian - 3%

We'll find out very soon if winning (or coming in second or 4th in the case of Everwood) has any effect on the executives over at the CW. The 2006-2007 CW schedule will be announced May 18th.

Where to begin?

So I finally saw Tuesday night's episode of Veronica Mars titled Happy Go Lucky. And wow it was jam packed with goodness. I mean we had home baked cupcakes, Wallace and Jackie in love, a school shooting and Lucky being shot dead all before the opening credits!! The two main stories of this episode were of course the Aaron Echolls trial and some bus crash/Woody Goodman is a pervert developments. I'm going to leave the recapping to TWOP and others but here are some highlights of the episode. Also enjoy the pics from next week's episode courtesy of UPN. I'll be posting more throughout the week.

- Presumably Lucky and two other boys were molested by Woody Goodman when they played on his little league baseball team. Those two other boys happen to be Marcos Olivares and Peter Ferrar who were both on the bus!!

- Poor Veronica and Ketih get ripped apart on the witness stand at the Aaron Echolls trial. How the heck did the lawyer know she had an STD?Her poor dad almost had a heart attack!!

- Weevil needs to get a B on his algebra test to graduate which would make his grandma proud. Beaver agrees to tutor him in exchange for his car being fixed. Can someone explain to me two things, 1) Beaver is an 09er and he drives a station wagon? Does this seem odd to anyone else? And 2) Beaver is an 09er and can't afford to get his car fixed? Anyway Beaver was pretty much an incompetent tutor so Mac stepped in and helped out. It was good to see Mac and the Beav in the same room again and after a little while they seemed back to their old selves! And Weevil got the B.

- Wallace finished his finals, cleaned out his locker and said some really sweet things to V. He's such a softie!! Oh and he and Jackie need to tone it down a notch, they are starting to grate on my nerves.

- Who is this Hart kid? I think we might be seeing him again.

- Jackie's dad has a witness step forward and say he was with Terrence the day of the bus crash and therefore he couldn't have been responsible for the bus crash. This is the same man that Terrence owes a lot of money too. Now Terrence has to repay his debt by using his celebrity status to get customers into the casino.

- Two boys stepped forward and said they saw someone attack Thumper (whose body was found at the old Sharks stadium.) Lamb has them look at some pictures and they identify Weevil as the guy who attacked Thumper.

- Lucky planted a bomb in Woody's car which was found only after Keith called in the bomb squad. The bomb is the same type as was used in the bus crash and Lamb assumes Lucky is responsible for both.

- Keith finally shares the audio tapes he has and emails from Lucky which point towards Woody Goodman being a molester before agreeing to arrest him. Guess who's gone when he goes to make the arrest. That's right Woody has taken off in a private plane with no flight plan filed. Smooth move Lamb!

- Wallace goes to pick up Jackie and finds out she is gone, left for France already. Ouch! I have a feeling she'll be back.

- And lastly but definitely not least the Aaron Echolls verdict is in. All Veronica wants to do is see Aaron when the verdict is read. She is about to start her last final which she needs to ace to get the Kane scholarship and go to Stanford. V pretty much sacrifices any chance of going to Stanford and walks out on her final and heads to the courthouse. Aaron is not guilty on all charges, and V, Keith and Logan are all pretty much stunned. It's like OJ all over again!

Wow alot happened huh! The preview for the season finale next week looks ridiculous, in a good way of course. And best of all it looks like Duncan may be back. Ok maybe not back in Neptune but at least back on screen. Of course now he is a murder suspect in Lily's death which is ridiculous and crazy so it will be interesting to see what happens with him. Only a few more days until we find out everything!!!

Can you believe it? Tonight is the second to last episode of Veronica Mars. If the last two episodes of season 2 are anything like the last two episodes of season 1 we are in for quite a ride.
Here are the details on this episode from UPN:

"Happy Go Lucky" -- As Aaron Echolls' (guest star Harry Hamlin) trial is about to conclude, tensions rise as Veronica, Keith and Logan take the witness stand to testify against him, on VERONICA MARS, Tuesday, May 2 (9:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on UPN. Steve Gomer directed the episode from a script written by Diane Ruggiero. Meanwhile, after Veronica finds a suspicious e-mail in Woody's (guest star Steve Guttenberg) computer, Keith turns to Sheriff Lamb with evidence to arrest Woody, but Lamb refuses, believing that Keith is trying to turn him into a laughing stock. Also, to everyone's surprise, Neptune High's janitor Lucky brings a gun into school with the intent to find Gia.

Wow, that's alot going on for one episode!! The good news is it's bound to be amazing television. The bad news, guess who will be missing it. That's right, me!! Horrifying I know but duty calls. I think I have my bases covered and the episode is being recorded. If it ends up not being recorded you will probably hear a blood curdling shriek from coast to coast. At least I know it will be replayed on Sunday. So in the meantime I'll be avoiding any and all Veronica Mars talk so that I can remain spoiler free.

SOS - The second part of E!Online's Save Our Show poll is here. The shows were narrowed down to the five with the most votes. They are: Everwood, Supernatural, What About Brian, One Tree Hill and Veronica Mars. Now we get to vote again. Pick-Ups - NBC announced today it is picking up Crossing Jordan, Las Vegas and Medium for next year's schedule. All networks full schedules for Fall 2006 will be announced the week of May 15.

The Watcher - For all you How I Met Your Mother fans Chicago Tribune tv blogger Mo Ryan has great interviews with Cobie Smulder (Robin) and co-creator Craig Thomas.

Back in the thick of it

Things are finally getting back to normal in my tv watching world. First The Office returned last night after a lengthy break and now Grey's Anatomy finally comes back after taking almost a month off! It's been way to long to go without GA, I can't even remember everything that happened in the last episode. The crazy thing is that there are only four episodes left in the season. Can you believe it's that time of the year already!! I think I'm looking forward to this episode so much not only because I missed the show dearly but also I just finished watching season 1 (can you believe I missed it) so now I know a little bit more about the characters. And I definitely know much more about the Meredith and McDreamy dynamic.

Hurray! The Office finally returns tonight after an entirely too long hiatus. It sounds like they might be making up for it with an extra-hilarious episode. Here is what goes down tonight according to NBC:

When Dwight (Rainn Wilson) finds half a joint in the Dunder Mifflin parking lot, he puts on his Volunteer Sheriff's uniform and launches a full investigation -- prompting Michael (Golden Globe winner Steve Carell) to ask for an unusual favor. Pam (Jenna Fischer) playfully issues a challenge to Jim (John Krasinski) and he does his best to follow through with it.

So make sure you check it out tonight at 9:30/8:30 CST. There's bound to be tons of memorable lines to throw around tomorrow. Conan! Conan! Conan! What does it take to get through all that hair and into that thick skull of yours? You're coming to Chicago in May to do a few tapings of your show. Great idea!! You get me all riled up that I have a chance to attend one of your tapings and watch you do your thing up close and in person. Then what do you do? You don't give me tickets to a single darn show! Granted there were something like 71,000 ticket requests but for some reason I thought I had a really good chance at getting reservations. No such luck. I learned this morning that the emails letting those who were picked to get tickets were sent out last night. Darn it! I've been scouring my spam folder for 3 weeks and this is the thanks I get!!!

OH. MY. GOD. There are no words to describe last night's episode of Veronica Mars. It was phenomenal. I could and will watch it over and over again. Holy cow it was good, no great. I think I literally just exhaled a minute ago for the first time since the scenes with Veronica and Logan. Wowsers! That's some pretty freaking good acting. If those two don't get nominated for an Emmy because of the last scene at Logan's door I will just die.

Beside being tortured by all the Veronica and Logan interactions (when did I become a fan of LoVe?) the whole episode was chock-full of goodness. The Jackie and Wallace scenes were good to see, though a bit much at times. Am I the only one who thought that random make-out scene was a little bizarre?

How dumb am I that I just got the jokes Veronica was making about Madison and the law. Duh! I definitely need to re-watch those scenes.

The stuff with Keith taking the fall for Woody breaks my heart but I'm glad Veronica didn't even give it a second thought and didn't let it bother her. I think it has pretty much been confirmed that Woody is a 100% prime sleazeball.

I'm glad to see Mac in a multitude of episodes this season and not just as Veronica's techie friend. But where the heck is Beaver? Are we ever going to find out what was going on with him? Or even see him again?

The stuff with Lucky was totally bizarre, did everyone else assume like I did that Woody has something to do with his freakish behavior? That is if you consider keeping a machete at your office odd.

And last but not least, Veronica has an STD? What? Not our little innocent Veronica. That is not cool. Veronica is too smart for that. It seems completely irrelevant to any storyline! Knowing Rob Thomas and the rest of the writing team her lovely case of chlamydia will tie into a plotline somewhere!

Even more shocking than Veronica's little health issue were the previews for the last two episodes of the season. Holy crap there is still a lot that has to go down in two measly hours!! A school shooting, Aaron's trial, graduation, and of course solving the bus crash. Ahhh!!!

Harold Brighton Abbott, what have you done? You just really, really, really messed up. I mean really messed up. Really. Not only did Bright cheat on his lovely girlfriend Hannah but he then wussed out on telling her. Poor Hannah, she isn't going to know what to do with herself. Bright very, very quickly last night went from being my favorite character on Everwood to being at the bottom of the barrel. Hopefully he can redeem himself next week with Hannah and of course with me. And was it just me or did the woman he slept with (Kelly Carlson) seem totally pathetic. The whole situation bothers me to no end! I was literally hitting my table with my fist several times during last nights episode.

Besides Bright being a total idiot the rest of the episode was really good. The scenes with Ephram and Andy were great and it was fun watching them not have a huge fight. And it was awesome to see Ephram figure out what he wants to do with his life. Good for him, now if only I could do the same. The whole Nina and Jake situation is kind of sad because you just know he isn't going to marry her. Or at least I feel like he's on his way out. But I'm so glad she totally called him on his tendency to obsess over things, such as his addiction group meetings.

The scenes with Ephram and Kyle were also really fun to watch. It was good to actually see Kyle crack a smile for once. Does anybody know what year Kyle is supposed to be? It seems to me that Ephram and him could only be a year apart if he is a senior in high school. Could that be right?

Strangely I didn't find myself missing Amy during this episode, I didn't even realize she wasn't in it until this morning. Maybe that's because I was still seething over Bright. Needless to say next weeks episode is going to be very interesting and probably pretty sad for us Bright and Hannah fans.

Don't tell me I didn't warn you. There is another important Save Our Show poll that everyone should participate in. Kristin Veitch, the TV Diva over at Eonline.com is running this poll through her weekly column. Simply read the list of shows that need saving by clicking here then select the show that needs to be saved the most out of that bunch and email Kristin with the show as the subject in your email. Got all that?

I thought picking a show would be easy as always, simple head to the bottom of the alphabetical list and select good ol Veronica Mars. But choosing was very difficult this time and I fully blame Kristin for this one. She put the shows in categories ranging from Likely to be saved, to on the fence, to likely to be doomed. Veronica Mars was in the likely to be saved pile (phew!!) and I've heard that it is pretty much a lock for next season (but I'm still holding my breath.) So I did the unthinkable, I didn't vote for VM. I can already hear the gasps. Instead I voted for an excellent show that has a much slimmer chance of making the cut and getting another season. Drum roll please, I picked Everwood. And I think you all should too.

This is the fifth year for the E!Online SOS poll and it has made a difference. Here are the winners from the past four years: Roswell, Once and Again, Angel and Veronica Mars. 3 out of the 4 winners were spared and lived for another season. So get out there and vote (for Everwood)!!

Sweet and Salty

This Thursday when I was actually laying in my bed eating a box of cookies I caught an episode of Top Chef on Bravo. For some strange reason I've been resisting watching this show, maybe because the constant ads for it during Project Runway were so annoying but my friend kept telling me how good it was. I watched the episode with Ted Allen from Queer Eye as the guest judge. Was that the most recent episode? Anyway, I really enjoyed the episode.

The challenge was that the chefs had to create a multi-course dinner for Ted Allen and his important foodie friends. So the chefs worked together so that each chef had a course that complimented their strengths. Then came the twist that all of us Project Runway fans are so used to. The chefs weren't going to be making the course they designed and shopped for. Each chef pulled a knife out of a knife block which decided what course they would make. There was a lot of drama and fuss of course from most of the chefs. There were a few however who didn't really seem to care and that's because they can handle any kind of dish. Seems like a pretty reasonable request to shift from making the meat course to making soup or whatever it may be.

Anyway the really big drama of the night came from Miguel. Oh Miguel, how did you manage this one? Miguel is making a seemingly simple and stress-free cheese plate with some sort of sorbet. He's whistling along with his dish and he's working on the sorbet when all of a sudden he freaks out. This "top chef" managed to use salt in the sorbet instead of sugar. Now I am by no means a cook of any shape or size but even I can tell the difference between salt and sugar. How could Miguel not tell the difference? Seriously, seriously!! So Miguel goes into meltdown mode which is pretty darn entertaining and he decides he not going to finish his dish. Smart move dude.

He obviously finishes his dish but when he presents it he can't remember the name of the cheese. This man made a sorbetless cheese plate and he can't remember the name of the cheese he used. Overall Ted Allen and the food snobs liked the meal and Miguel somehow someway wasn't sent packing. I'm excited to see what drama unfolds in the kitchen next week (Top Chef is on Wed at 10/9 CST), maybe Miguel will confuse apples and tomatoes. Ok that's probably a stretch but here's to hoping!

It's Tuesday

It's Tuesday and still no posts from me. I'm probably laying in my bed with a box of cookies watching Jerry Springer right? No, not so much. I just can't think of anything terribly interesting to post about lately. I feel like I've only been watching two shows lately, Veronica Mars and Everwood. Don't get me wrong both are awesome shows and I could talk about them all day but I don't want to beat them to death. I've pretty much stopped watching Prison Break (no real reason) and I stopped watching 24 early in the season. Scrubs is now on at the same time as VM so unfortunately adios to you Scrubs! On Wednesday I watch nothing of substance, The Office is normally my drug of choice on Thursday but it's been off for a while and Fri and Sat nothing. Sunday I typically watch Grey's Anatomy but it's been on hiatus for a few weeks as well. So that pretty much leaves me with VM and Everwood. What shows are out there that I should be watching now that my schedule has opened up? I'm up for any and all suggestions!!

Wow! Did everyone watch last night's episode of Veronica Mars? I'm still catching my breath from it, so much happened! I think this episode (I Am God) was much better than last weeks highly touted episode. But that's just me! Did you see the scene with Beaver and V outside in the cafeteria? That's the scene I watched during my set visit. Quite a quick and simple scene but it took several hours. Did anybody catch Dick goofing off in the background of that scene? He was twirling a bike around on one wheel. The only reason I noticed it was because he was only a few feet from us when that scene took place. There were so many fantastic one liners in last night's episode. My favorite was Keith Mars knocking Paris Hilton who guest starred on VM early in season 1. I'm glad that didn't stick. I'm going to hold off on discussing what all went down last night until I watch the episode again. I'm sure there will be plenty to analyze once I catch it a second time. In case you missed last night's episode (shame on you!) I'm pretty sure UPN is replaying it tonight after America's Next Top Model on UPN.

Don't forget Veronica Mars is on tonight. The show debuts in its new timeslot at 9/8 CST on UPN. This episode, which is titled I Am God, looks really, really good. And I should know, I was on the set while it was filmed (that's my elbow next to Kristen Bell, exciting I know) and I have some of the script in my hands. I wish I could give you all a sneak peek into what we'll be seeing tonight but I haven't even allowed myself to read the bit of the script that I do have. I didn't want to ruin any surprises! Anyway in tonight's episode Veronica has all sorts of crazy dreams about the bus crash and the crash victims. It should be very, very interesting!! And Dick is in this episode which is always a plus!! Ryan Hansen, the actor who plays Dick, filled us in during our bloggers press day set visit and he said he has some cheeky lines in this episode. Surprise, surprise!!

And I'm back from my mini-unannounced hiatus. I had a little bout of laziness for a few days last week coupled with a busy work week which left me unable to post for a few days there. But that hasn't kept me from my tv. Last week I started watching season 1 of Grey's Anatomy (thanks to the modern miracle of Netflix) and it shouldn't be a suprise that I'm enjoying it. I'm about 4 episodes in and it's very interesting to see everyone's back story and to see how some of the characters have changed and some of them haven't. I can't get over how obnoxious Alex has been so far. He's obnoxious this season but in the episodes I'm watching now he is completely unlikable and I want him off the show. I think George, Izzie and Cristina have all pretty much stayed the same. Meredith has changed a lot. I forgot what she looks like when she smiles and in season 1 she does actually smile from time to time. In my opinion season 2 is a lot better and has more depth but season 1 is pretty cute and I'm definitely excited to watch the last five episodes of the season.

What did you guys think of Prison Break and Everwood this week? Both were exceptional episodes, I thought the Prison Break episode was especially insteresting since it flashed back 3 years. Here are my random thoughts on both shows.

Prison Break
- I liked how they made all the prisoners (except for T-Bag) likeable before they committed their crimes. I mean we're supposed to be rooting for these guys to break out of prison so if they are pyschos then it's hard to be in their corner.

- This episode just reaffirmed how incredibly creepy and scary T-bag is. He is freaks me out so bad that if I saw Robert Knepper who plays T-bag on the street I would turn around and run in the other direction. And that means a lot because I am by no means a runner.

- Does anyone else feel like Michael and Lincoln should have had hair?

- Veronica and Michael together was incredibly weird. I'm very glad that stopped before it began.

- C-note is so intense I feel like my eyes are going to burn out whenever he is on screen. Believe it or not I do feel bad for him and the whole situation with the military.

- I hope when Sucre gets out he wipes the smirk off his cousin's face. What a jerk!!

Everwood
- Delia's speech made me cry, I'm such a wuss. But in my defense Dr. Brown was crying also.

- Where the heck are Bright and Hannah?

- I so wasn't expecting Ephram to start going on about how he abandoned his son and that is why he's doing so much for piano boy. It was a really great scene though!

- I love Nina to death but how dumb do you have to be to offer wine to someone who just got out of rehab? But she is trying, really hard which is cute.

- Since when does having ADD mean you fall down a lot? That was a new one to me!

- Since when does doing pilates make you a contortionist?

- I'm not even going to address the Amy situation (ok yes I am.) I just want to shake her. Yes it's frustrating to have different opinions than your parents but her freaking dad didn't care that they had different opinions and he even welcomed it. Were we supposed to feel bad for her? She was driving me crazy.

So there you have it, my thoughts on the new Prison Break and Everwood episodes. Probably way more than you ever wanted to know!

Plan B

I just realized that I never posted anything from the teleconference with Rob Thomas and Jason Dohring. Yikes, how did that slip my mind? Anyway hopefully I can get those transcribed sometime this week. Also don't forget tonight is the episode of Veronica Mars that Rob Thomas has been chatting up for a couple of months now. The episode, Plan B, is one of Rob's all-time favorites. It looks like we might find out who killed Felix in this episode. I guess we'll see soon enough! Next week's episode I Am God is the episode I was in Neptune for. Even though the scene we saw being filmed is about 20 seconds long it will still be fun to watch it. Don't forget VM tonight at 9/8 CST on UPN.

The Rapes of Graff

I can't believe it's almost time for another VM episode. Not that I'm complaining at all but I'm still digesting all that happened this episode. When the episode first ended I was kind of disapoointed and confused by it. Did Veronica ever figure out who the rapist was? If so it was incredibly unclear. It turns out that V did not nab the rapist but the word on the street is that catching this rapist will be the season long mystery for season 3. That is if the tv gods grant VM a third season. Anyway so much else happened in this episode besides V going after some rapists. Let me see what I can remember.

- Madison and Lamb, a couple? He is dirty!! And as a matter of fact so is she!!
- Then of course you can't forget the confrontation between Keith, Cliff and Lamb and the hilarious fliers.
- Maeby and George Michael from Arrested Development starring in the episode. They were great and it's particulary funny that they played college kids since they are teenagers but Kristen Bell is 25 and plays a 17 year old.
- Murder charges against Logan are completely dropped, I have to say I wasn't expecting that one!
- Troy VandeGraff was back, and it was so fun to see Veronica's reaction to him!
- And of course the hilarious scene in the wig shop where VM announces it's time for her to earn an Emmy nomination.

Ok I'm just babbling now but when I look back at the episode I realized that it was another great episode and there just was so much going on. I left so much interesting stuff out but I just realized I never mentioned how much I liked this episode.

Tomorrow night's episode is one of Rob Thomas's all-time favorites and he said it's even better than Rapes of Graff. Can't wait!

Hanging with Jen and Vince

I heard on the radio today that Jennifer Aniston and Vince Vaughn are in town doing re-shoots for their movie The Break Up which filmed in Chicago this summer. What do I see not two minutes after I hear this news? Only the set where they are filming for the day and tons of trailers and all that good stuff. Luckily it was only a few blocks from my office so I headed down there at lunch and watched Jen and Vince film. I didn't get as close to them as I did last time (as the pic shows) but it was still close The weird thing was that there were a bunch of paparrazi there, the security guards were doing their best to block their shots which was humorous. So that was a fun little lunchtime adventure. Back to TV news now!

Rumors!!

In case any of you are sobbing at your desk because of the VM rumors I'm here to let you know they are false!! A fake article was circulating today that VM was "canned." None of this is true and Rob Thomas last night even discussed a third season which is looking very likely. So chin up and don't forget to watch tonight at 9 PM/8 PM CST on UPN. The name of the episode is The Rapes of Graff which is as good of an indication as any that the episode is going to be superb.

I just finished up the telepress conference with Rob and Jason. They were both awesome. Jason was about 40 minutes late but Rob gave us some good stuff to make up for it. My hand is about to fall off from writing all the info they gave down but I'll tell you all the good stuff tomorrow. I did get to talk to Rob but I didn't get on the phone in time for Jason. Oh well, what can you do!! Tomorrow I'll have some ideas about the format of season 3 and details on what's going on with Hannah as well as all sorts of other good stuff including previously unknown info about season 1.

In case you haven't heard Arrested Development is over, dunzo, finito, no more. The creator of the show Mitch Hurwitz decided to not continue with the show. So that means no more AD on Fox and virtually no chance of AD on Showtime. The only possibility of seeing the Bluths again is in a movie according to Kristin Veitch at E!Online.com,
"The only glimmer of hope I can offer you is that my sources tell me a motion picture is certainly still a possibility.As you may remember, Jason Bateman told me to pay particular notice of the very last scene of Arrested's finale, in which Ron Howard tells Maebe "I don't see it as a show -- maybe a movie," saying that could be very indicative of the future of the show."

So we can all uncross our fingers and toes and whatever else you had crossed. I can't say I'm suprised that this happened but I'm definitely bummed. We'll always have the DVDs!

Everwood is finally back after an almost four month break!! Don't forget to check out two new back to back episodes starting at 8 PM/ 7 PM CST on the WB. This show has quality writing, r characters you can relate to and great plot lines. But you already know that right! This show is in serious danger of not being picked up next year, so make sure you all watch. I will bet you a quarter that if you watch you'll like it! Don't forget!
Note: Watch Everwood but don't forget to record Prison Break. Why do all the good shows need to overlap? Argh!!

Major VM News

Thanks to my friend duckyxdale I just learned that VM is moving back to it's original home, Tuesday nights. I am completely and utterly shocked. They put the show on hiatus for a few weeks to wait for America's Next Top Model to return and now they are moving it away from ANTM. The move is supposedly to get the show out of the same timeslot as the massive hits Lost and American Idol but AI is going to be on Tuesday as well as Wednesday. My big question is when was UPN going to let the viewers know this big change was happening. I don't watch UPN for any other show besides VM so commercials announcing the move would be pointless for me and I'm sure many other viewers. Ok, enough of my rant here is the article from Zap2It.

LOS ANGELES -- UPN is sending "Veronica Mars" back to her old home for the remainder of the season, which may be both good and bad news for the series.Starting next week, "Veronica" will air at 9 p.m. ET Tuesdays -- the same timeslot it held last season. Repeats are scheduled to air on Wednesdays for at least the next two weeks; plans for after that "will be announced shortly," the network says.

With the move, "Veronica Mars" will lose its strong lead-in, "America's Next Top Model," which helped boost the critically loved high-school noir's ratings in the fall. "Veronica's" ratings have suffered in recent airings, however, partly due to the absence of "Top Model" and partly due to the return of "American Idol."

For the season, it's averaging about 2.4 million viewers per week, just about even with its numbers this time last year.Moving the show to Tuesdays does get it out of "Idol's" path, as well as that of ABC's "Lost" and CBS' "Criminal Minds." It will, however, have to go up against FOX's "House" and CBS' emerging hit "The Unit."What the change means for "Veronica's" chances to make the jump to The CW next season remains to be seen.

UPN President Dawn Ostroff, who will run the new network, is a fan of the show. Still, its marginal ratings make a pickup for The CW, which will feature programs from both UPN and The WB, less than certain.

This makes me really nervous that the show is in danger of not being picked up by the new CW network. Ahhh!!!

Back in The Office...finally

The Office tonight is a repeat...boo! But the good news is it's a funny repeat. Here's the premise for the episode tonight:

HOW TO CHOOSE A HEALTH CARE PLAN BY DWIGHT SCHRUTE -- When Corporate wants Michael (Steve Carell) to pick a cheaper health plan for his employees, rather than lose popularity points with his staff, he shirks the responsibility and Dwight (Rainn Wilson) happily accepts the task. Delighted with his new position of power, Dwight takes over the conference room as his new "office" and manages to offend everyone by asking staff members to divulge their private medical history. Jim (John Krasinski) and Pam (Jenna Fischer) jokingly create fake illnesses only to infuriate Dwight.

The VM publicists have been working overtime lately and I've got lots to share. First up next Tuesday I've been invited to a telepress conference with Jason Dohring and Rob Thomas. This is my second chance! I need to come up with some really good questions to ask Rob and Jason. I had Rob all to myself for about three minutes during my VM set visit and you know what I did, I totally blanked out on all the questions I've ever wanted to ask him and I told him that the food was really good. I made such a fool out of myself! All the other bloggers had all these hard hitting questions and I'm like wow this salmon is tasty! So leave me some questions in the comments or email me. Also don't forget to watch a new episode of VM tonight at 9/8 CST on UPN. But I know you would never forget!

It's Been Awhile

I've been kind of slacking lately in my posts but I've got some good stuff saved up. Let's get straight to the Veronica news. First off Kristen Bell is my new favorite person ever. I got home Saturday and checked my mail even though I knew it was just going to be boring bills. But instead I find an interesting envelope that is postmarked San Diego. What the heck! I don't know anyone in SD. I open the envelope and what do I find? A handwritten card from Veronica Mars herself Kristen Bell! Holy freaking cow! She wrote me a personal note thanking me for visiting the set and apologizing for not having more time to hang out with us. What? How is this world so twisted that she is thanking me? Bizarre! Anyway it was awesome and it's officially confirmed that I'm obessed with VM and now Kristen Bell!! So who's jealous that Kristen Bell and I are now officially best friends forever? I mean she signed the note with a heart so that means we're BFFs right? I've got more exciting VM news to come so hang out!

Grey's Anatomy returned last night after a quick break because of the Oscars. I somehow managed to miss the first 20 minutes of the episode and when I finally did start watching I saw something very startling and rubbed my eyes so hard that my contact came out. Was that Duncan Kane (aka Teddy Dunn) I just saw in the Seattle Grace emergency room? Yep, there was Veronica Mars ex-boyfriend who just fled to Mexico with his illegitimate child sitting in an emergency room in Seattle pretending to be a high school hockey player. Talk about two worlds colliding! I'm glad to see that Teddy has been getting some work since his so sad departure from VM. And you really can't find a bigger tv show than Grey's! During the VM Bloggers Press Day two weeks ago Rob Thomas told us that Teddy was going to law school. Maybe he had a change of plans and will be running back to VM soon! I think the big guest star (for non-VM fans) of last night's episode was supposed to be Natalie Cole who I struggled to identify since I was holding one of my contacts in my hand. But it was indeed her and I think she did a great job. I definitely need to rewatch this episode since I missed a lot of the beginning but it was a decent episode. I guess we've been spoiled because the Super Bowl episodes were amazing!

Disappointment of the week

The Project Runway finale aired last night and I have been looking forward to this episode since the beginning of this season. Well I'm dog/house sitting this week and I get myself all comfy on the couch with some snacks and turn on Bravo. But I can't find Bravo, it is nowhere to be found on the 200 plus channels they have. What the heck? So I go downstairs to where their Tivo is and I attempt to Tivo PR, but PR isn't showing up in the listings. Somehow this house which has 12 different ESPN channels doesn't get Bravo. So I missed the finale, the whole darn thing! I told myself that I would get it off iTunes and not spoil myself by peeking to see who won. Well I definitely peeked and I definitely know who won. If you don't want to be spoiled skip the rest of this post. So Chloe wins, which I think is kind of lame. I like Chloe and all and during the season I thought she was great but she just doesn't seem to be as passionate about design as Santino or Daniel V were. Chloe even said that she doesn't think she'll leave Houston and her shop there. I never thought that I'd be rooting for Santino but I for sure thought the winner would be Daniel V. or Santino. I'm sure both Daniel and Santino will land on their feet but I'm definitely bummed that they didn't win. And I still think Nick deserved to be in the final three. What a crock! Here is a link to video of Kara's fashion week collection. She got to show a collection so that no one would know who for sure the final three were. I like a few of her designs but most of it seems pretty out there. Lots of skirts with leggins underneath, but what do I know, I shop at Target!

So what did everyone think of the cycle 6 premiere of America's Next Top Model last night? Do you think it's a bad sign that my favorite part of the premiere was the Veronica Mars commercials for next week's show? ANTM had a two hour premiere but I missed about 45 minutes at the beginning. I'm very glad I missed the beginning because they were just narrowing down the models from around 30 potential candidates to 13. This seems really silly to me because photos of the 13 girls participating in the show have been online for a few weeks, even on the ANTM website. After the first episode I think this season looks like a toss-up. I think it could either be all drama and arguments or it could be a fierce (Tyra's favorite word) competition. There are some really gorgeous girls but there are also some that seem like easy targets. I think Kari (pictured) is my favorite girl right now and I bet she has a good chance of winning. Nnenna also seems like an early favorite. One thing I know for sure I miss Janice Dickinson as a judge, she might have been obnoxious but she certainly kept things interesting.

I just wanted to remind everyone that America's Next Top Model returns tonight with a big whopping two hour premiere. This is the sixth time around for ANTM, can you believe it? This season is all about fairy tales coming true. I don't exactly understand why they need a theme for each season but I guess that's why Tyra is making the big bucks and not me. Last season had plenty of drama but only a handful of interesting characters, so I'm hoping this time around I actually like most of the girls. The premiere airs tonight at 8/7 C on UPN.

The season finale of Project Runway 2 is tomorrow. Will it be Chloe, Daniel or Santino who walks away with the prize? I'm rooting for Daniel but after last weeks episode it looks like Santino might have the best collection! Imagine that!

Prison Break returns to Mondays on FOX in just a few shorts weeks after a long winter's nap. I'm so excited to have this show back! I think on Monday nights I'm going to need to take some valium or something in order to get to sleep and come down from the suspense and craziness of watching Prison Break and 24 back to back. FX is going to be airing all the Prison Break episodes from this fall in anticipation of the show's return. This is perfect for those of you who have heard how great Prison Break is but never watched or if you missed a few episodes and could never get into it again. The Prison Break marathon will be March 19 from 12 to 7 PM on FX. I'll probably watch the last few episodes just to refresh my memory!

I fell asleep at 11 PM on Saturday, the really sad part is that I was so excited for SNL this weekend with Natalie Portman hosting. I watched a little bit of it and it wasn't that funny and before I knew it I was sound asleep. It looks like I missed another hilarious digital short. 24 is on tonight with "a special 2 hour event." This two hour episode is supposed to be huge with lots of suprises and tons of suspenful moments as usual. Am I the only one who is always disappointed whenever FOX says something big is happening on 24? Maybe it's just me but either way this episode is not to be missed.

Is it just me or were the Oscars beyond boring last night? The only real surprise came at the end of the night when Crash won for Best Picture but even that wasn't a huge surprise. All the actors who won seemed so nonchalant about it, I was expecting Reese Witherspoon to get all emotional but she barely even reacted. Same with George Clooney, Rachel Weisz and Philip Seymour Hoffman. The whole show was almost intolerable, and I normally adore the Oscars. Even the pre-show was almost unwatchable, what is E! thinking putting Isaac Mizrahi in the red carpet, he has no clue what he's doing. For the love of God the man is a fashion designer not a television personality and interviewer. I saw him at one point drag a man away from a conversation he was having to be on camera. How rude! The only good parts about the show were Jon Stewart who I thought was great even though he is getting panned today and when Three Six Mafia won.

Though not all of these characters will achieve the legendary status of Deputy Barney Fife, they're still pretty swell:

Dwight Schrute on NBC's "The Office," played by Rainn Wilson: The most obvious heir to Knotts, Schrute is another gangly misfit who has, to put it mildly, an interesting take on life. Wilson's gift for physical comedy is inspiring, but his deadpan delivery is what really puts him in a class by himself.

Barney Stinson on CBS' "How I Met Your Mother," played by Neal Patrick Harris: In his own way, Barney Stinson, an acerbic, quip-spewing ladies man, is a modern-day descendant of Barney Fife, in that Stinson, as gleefully portrayed by Harris, is often more entertaining than the show's official leads. Stinson certainly gets the best lines, and Harris appears to be having a truckload of fun while stealing the show out from under his co-stars.

Chloe O'Brian on Fox's "24," played by Mary Lynn Rajskub: As the office ubernerd at Los Angeles' Counter Terrorism Unit, O'Brian is surly, sarcastic and utterly unimpressed by bureaucratic authority. Those are all reasons to love her.

Dr. Miranda Bailey on ABC's "Grey's Anatomy," played by Chandra Wilson: How Wilson makes this fearsome medical supervisor scary, sympathetic and even funny all at the same time is beyond us. Never mind, she's often the best thing about this delicious show.

Julius on UPN's "Everybody Hates Chris," played by Terry Crews: You think your dad was cheap? You haven't met this father, who can look at an overturned glass of milk and see just how many pennies that spilled beverage cost him. In Crews' hands, though, Julius' comic cheapness emerges as a twisted form of love -- he works multiple jobs and is constantly wondering whether he'll be able to pay the rent this month. Rarely have money worries been this funny.

Dr. Perry Cox on NBC's "Scrubs," played by John C. McGinley: Over the years, Dr. Cox's clipped, barely restrained torrents of abuse toward one and all -- and especially toward his hapless former intern, John Dorian -- have metamorphosed into an art form. They're arias of hate, if you will. There are few things on TV funnier than seeing Dr. Cox deliver a verbal beat-down.

Joy on NBC's "My Name Is Earl," played by Jaime Pressley: Pressley doesn't shy away from the fact that Joy, Earl Hickey's ex-wife, is as white trash as they come. She actually glories in Joy's trailer-park roots, and somehow is able to bring honesty and subtle characterization to what could have been a grab bag of stereotypes. Joy's a hoot, and she makes a funny show even better.

Logan Echolls on UPN's "Veronica Mars," played by Jason Dohring: As Veronica's bitter ex, this cynical rich kid gets all the best lines, and Dohring's delivery of them is note perfect. Women always fall for the bad boy. Dohring's electric portrayal of this secretly hurting upper-class brat is the sort of stuff that launches thousands of LiveJournal entries.

Dr. Oliver Barnes on CBS' "Out of Practice," played by Ty Burrell: There's nothing all that original about this doctor-centric comedy, which returns later in March, but Burrell's wonderful way with a put-down is worth the price of admission.

Marshall Flinkman on ABC's "Alias," played by Kevin Weisman: Whatever the far-out mission, whatever the insanely complex gadget, we can always count on Flinkman, the in-house tech guru on "Alias," to make it funny. Complicated spy sagas are not usually chock-full of laughs, but Flinkman's stumbling-nerd delivery and sympathetic demeanor have given "Alias" its heart for five seasons.

Brian on Fox's "Family Guy," voiced by Seth McFarlane: Those Greeks had their Greek choruses. The Griffin family has Brian, a martini-swilling dog who wearily comments on the Griffins' constant misadventures with a wit as dry as his chosen cocktail. Even when "Family Guy's" having an off night, Brian's seen-it-all commentary is always a treat.

E.B. Farnum on "Deadwood," played by William Sanderson: Who said sniveling wasn't an art form? As tavern owner Al Swearengen's errand boy, Farnum has taken groveling to new highs -- or lows, depending on how you look at it. Through Sanderson's portrayal, as skilful as any other on this ridiculously well-acted show, the hotelier Farnum is more than just a puppet; he's a tragic figure in a worn frock coat, a reminder that the Old West wasn't all just cowboys and Conestoga wagons, but a place full of stressful business intrigues as well.

Claudette Wyms on FX's "The Shield," played by C.C.H. Pounder: This dogged detective hasn't always gotten the showiest story lines, but without question, she's the moral center of this complicated, endlessly compelling cop drama. Let's hope Wym's illness, which just took a turn for the worse, won't keep her off duty permanently; the cops at the grotty Farmington district headquarters will miss her, but not as much as viewers would miss Pounder, who has subtly created TV's most compelling female cop.

So there you have it, definitely some favorites of mine on there!!

Oh the horror!!

All day at the VM set the other bloggers were waiting for me to scream when we met the actors. I guess I come across as a teeny bopper type. Anyway I never came remotely close to screaming but I did let out a little yelp when I got to the very last picture on my camera. It was a picture of me and Jason Dohring and it didn't turn out! I mean you can see me and you can see Jason but it definitely looks a little funky!! I was always the one all day who "broke the seal" and asked the actors to take a picture with me and now this happened. Why me?

Where to begin...

Wow! I don't even know where to begin telling you guys about my trip. I guess I'll start at the beginning (duh!) So we left the hotel in San Diego around 9:15 AM and they took us to the set in a huge stretch limo. It was a little gaudy but hilarious! So we entered the lot where the show is filmed and the first thing I see is Logan's car. Thats when it hit me, I'm really going to be seeing the set and the actors and everything. So we exited the limo right next to a Neptune school bus. We came around a corner and ta da...there was the outdoor cafeteria set, a flagpole and the front entrance to Neptune High. Kristen and Kyle (Beaver) were filming a scene which we watched for about an hour. While they were filming Ryan Hansen (Dick) was just hanging around the set. He came over and met us and took a picture with all of us. He was SO nice and really funny. During a break from filming Kyle came over and said hi to us. The Beav is so cute, we all just wanted to put him in our pocket. He was super nice and seemed a little shy. Kyle and Ryan together were hilarious, at one point Kyle ran down the steps of the cafeteria and Ryan ran towards him and picked Kyle up in some sort of a pairs figure skating move. It was so random and so funny! Good to see some family love on the set. Anyway while Kyle was talking to us Veronica herself came over and sat right next to me and chatted with us for a while. She was really nice, down to earth and of course gorgeous!! She had to go after about ten minutes and we didn't get to take a picture with her. I was so bummed but what can you do!! I'll have some more details from our conversation with her a little later including some scoop on the Maxim photos she just did.
So after our conversation with Kristen and taking a few more pictures with Ryan and Kyle we went on a tour of the set. First stop was Java the Hut, I definitely didn't really recognize it but maybe that was because it was pitch black. Next we went to Mars Investigations which was really cool to see. I thought it looked really different from what we see on tv also. I even had to ask someone which was Veronica's desk and which was Keith's office. I was confused! Anyway t this point in the tour the bloggers really started hamming it up, we took some fun pictures and we had a set photographer trailing us all day and he took some funny pictures of us peering around the door to Keith's office. Next we went to the Mars residence which looked a lot smaller than it does on tv. At this point in the tour we were joined by the one and only Rob Thomas. He took us to the Sheriff's office where we took a few more pictures and he chatted with us and answered tons of questions. The last set we visited was the Neptune Grand, Duncan's former residence sniff, sniff. Anyway did you know the suite Duncan and Logan live in only has one bedroom. So whenever Logan turns to go to his room he is really just walking into a wall! When they do scenes in Logan's bedroom they just change the sheets on the bed! Pretty funny! After the Neptune Grand we went to lunch with Rob Thomas. In the next post I'll tell you guys about our sitdown with Rob, our run-in with Wallace and meeting Jason Dohring! Whew!

Back from Neptune

So I'm back from Neptune and after a few hours of sleep I'm still not sure that I've digested everything that happened. It was an awesome trip, so much better than I could have ever expected. The cast and crew was so nice and friendly and the other bloggers were so much fun! I'll have some pictures up tomorrow and I'll post some tidbits here and there throughout the day. A big thank you to Rob Thomas for hanging out with us way longer than he was required to! He was beyond nice to us and gave us the inside scoop on a few things, very cool. Also thank you to Ryan Hansen (Dick Casablancas) and Kyle Gallner (Beaver Casablancas) for hanging out with us and taking tons of pictures with us, these two are hilarious!! Also thank you Kristen Bell and Jason Dohring for chatting with us for a while! Unfortunately we didn't have time to take pics with Kristin but I will have some pics of Jason Dohring up very soon!

Ok so the Project Runway Reunion show was fabulous except for two moments. One moment was towards the end when Daniel Franco told Heidi that he loved her and Heidi just kind of looked away. It was so akward!! The second moment pretty much defies explanation so here it is:

So yeah umm that was interesting! She clearly had ingested some other "substances" besides alcohol that night. Wow! Thankfully she kept her mouth shut the rest of the night! I'm working on find some more clips of the show, the montages were just hysterical especially the musical montage!!

Consequences!!!

There are going to be some pretty severe consequences associated with my trip to San Diego. First and foremost I'll be missing a new episode of Grey's Anatomy that will air while I'm in flight and on the West Coast again right when I land. This new episode of Grey's seems pretty pivotal to the show and the characters. I mean hello they need to resolve the whole Meredith and George "thing" that went down. Plus there is all sorts of stuff going on with Burke and Cristina and we'll have to see if Alex and Izzie can keepe breaking sex records all over the hospital! And of course I'm crossing my fingers that the Derek/Addison/Mark triangle comes to a head and that Addison and Mark head 3,000 miles away, back to New York, to allow Meredith and Derek to make a go of things. Of course all of those things won't happen in one episode but then again it might only because I'll be missing it not once but twice!!

I'm leaving for San Diego in two days to visit the set of Veronica Mars and chat up Rob Thomas. If you guys have any questions for Rob Thomas please email them to me right away. Time is running out! I finally got my itinerary today and we will be spending not one, not two but three hours on the set watching them film. I pray to God that they are filming a scene with Veronica and Logan, how fantastic would that be? I probably won't be able to post again until Tuesday but it will be the most fantastic post ever with details and pictures from my Veronica Mars set visit. Ahhh, it's almost here!!

Instead of a regular Project Runway episode tonight they are airing a PR reunion! I'm so excited it's sick. This is going to be juicy, dirty, ugly and any other word besides nice and polite you can think of. Normally I'm not into this stuff (I swear) but I think this reunion is going to be very interesting. I can't wait! It airs tonight at 9 PM/8 Pm CST on Bravo. And they are doing things a little differently than most reunion shows, everyone will be there including the 3 designers who are left in the show!

I almost forgot, there were rumors all last week of an intern leaving the show. But it turns out an intern is leaving the program but will stay on the show. I'm going to guess that Alex will leave to join a plastic surgery program. He certainly has the ego for that profession! And here is a picture of the beautiful McSteamy. I don't like him so I'm hoping he and Addison will run away together....and soon!

So I sincerely hope that everyone watched Grey's Anatomy on Sunday ( I almost forgot because I had Monday off!) because they are on a roll! I thought this episode was just as good as the past two episodes. Of course another hottie made his way onto the show and received the new nickname of McSteamy ( get it McDreamy and McSteamy, har har.) Anyway the big doings in the episode came at the end when George worked up the courage (finally!) to tell Meredith how he feels. He literally said all the right things and I just melted. Apparently Meredith melted too because they immediately began taking each others clothes off. So naive stupid little me was all excited, I'm a nice person and this is what George wanted for so long! Well it appears that everyone else who watches this show thinks that Meredith is just using George because she is lonely and she will pretty much tear his heart out next episode. Hopefully that won't happen but you know what they say, characters living happily ever after doesn't make for good tv. This sentiment is echoed by Krista Vernoff's comments on the writers blog Grey Matter. Anyway I think George's new nickname should be McFumbly, I always think of him kind of fumbling around, thats what makes him cute though!

Only six more days and I will be in Neptune (San Diego for you realists). I am soooo excited I can't even tell you. I have so much to do to get ready, I need to come up with some good questions to ask Rob Thomas and I need to figure out something to wear!!! I'll take suggestions on either questions or what to wear because I need all the help I can get on both fronts! I also need to prepare myself not to act like a blabbering idiot when/if I meet the cast!! The only thing about the trip that I'm bummed about is that it's going to be so short, I'm not even going to be in CA for 24 hours. I get in around 9 PM on Sunday and leave around 6 PM on Monday. That is a lot of time on planes but it will be more than worth it! I can't wait, I can't wait, I can't wait! So if you have any questions for Rob Thomas please let me know and I will try my best to get some answers!

They're Doing the Right Thing

Here is UPN's statement on why no new episodes of Veronica Mars are being shown for a few weeks:

Veronica Mars is facing a lot of competition in February, so to protect the series and to make sure that as many people as possible can watch the original episodes, we're going to air repeats for the next few weeks. The good news is that when Veronica returns some time in early March, we'll have nothing but original episodes through the season finale - so the goal here is, after this, no more repeats.

I think they've made the right decision here and it really shows how much UPN is behind VM. The awesome part is that once new episodes resume on March 15 then we have all new episodes until the season finale which is sure to rock our boats according to Rob Thomas!

ABC is replaying Sunday's unbelievable (in a good way of course!) Grey's Anatomy episode at 8:30 PM CST. The episode which aired last Sunday is of course the second half of the Super Bowl episode. If you missed it I highly recommed watching it and if you watched it on Sunday I would also suggest checking it out again! It's got to be more entertaining than watching the Olympics when you already know the results of all the events! By the way this is the first picture that came up when I search for pink mist!

February Sweeps

Does it not feel like February sweeps to anyone else? Sure the Olympics are on but that means no Scrubs, The Office and any other primetime show on NBC. Also as I mentioned earlier Veronica is taking a little break for a while. I can only think of one show that has really pulled out all the stops for Feb. sweeps and that is Grey's Anatomy of course with the fantastic two part episode It's the End of the World (As We Know It). But besides GA I just don't feel like any show is doing anything special. Please somebody prove me wrong here but its sweeps and except for one hour a week I'm bored!

It looks like UPN pulled a fast one on us Veronica Mars obssesed fans, we won't be seeing any new episodes of the show until March. Even though I'm bummed that there won't be any fresh Veronica and Logan scenes to chew on or new details from the bus crash to digest for a little while I'm happy with UPN's decision. Apparently VM's ratings have dipped quite a bit after losing America's Next Top Model as a lead-in. So the new episodes have been put on hold until March and the return of America's Next Top Model. Lucky for me I'll be getting a VM fix before then when I visit Neptune (ok San Diego) and the set of the show. Oh and I hear that a former flame of Veronica's is returning very soon (and it's not Duncan!)

I hope that everyone watched the two hour season (series?) finale of Arrested Development on Friday? I know the Olympic opening ceremonies were tempting but I'm confident that AD was much more entertaining. I thought the episode (it was actually four half hour episodes) was hilarious. I mean hello they went to Iraq! It can't get any funnier than that! I also thought Justine Bateman did a great job at Nelly the missing sister/lady of the evening! Too funny. I also loved the storyline between Maeby and George Michael, it was just classic! I was dreading each minute that ticked by during the episode because I knew it was just getting closer and closer to the end. Ok I'm being a little dramatic but it's true!

The day has come...

The day has come to say good-bye to one of our favorite shows. Arrested Development will be airing its final four episodes back to back to back (ok you get it!) tonight beginning at 7 PM. This is most likely not only going to be the season finale of the show but also the series finale. According to Kristin Veitch's column at E!Online.com it's not looking too good. Kristin's source had this to say about the show, "It's 20 percent that it'll come back [on another network]...and 80 percent that it won't." So soak up all the crazy Bluth antics you can tonight before it is all very possibly over. I want to write so much more about this sad event but that will have to wait until this weekend when I have more time. (I love this picture, it looks like the Bluths are in heaven!)

Tonight is going to be a great night because I don't only get to see one new episode of Veronica Mars but I get to watch two. I still haven't caught the episode I missed last week so it is going to be back to back Veronica Mars for me tonight. I think I can handle it! As excited as I am for my trip out to the VM set (all expenses paid courtesy of UPN) I know I'm going to be even more excited after getting back into the show after a brief hiatus! I'm sure we'll have lots to discuss tomorrow!

It still hasn't really sunk in that I am going to be on the set and having a power lunch with Rob Thomas and hopefully meeting the cast. February 27th could possibly be the coolest day ever! Woohooo! I have been invited to visit the set of Veronica Mars! This is the coolest thing ever, they are paying for me to fly out to San Diego and visit the set. Part of the visit includes lunch with Rob Thomas and absolutely everything is paid for, my flight, transportation, hotel, food everything! More to come later...

Make sure you set every possible recording device in your house to record Grey's Anatomy this Sunday after the Super Bowl. It is supposed to be the best episode of the show ever! I can't wait for it, all sorts of good stuff is supposed to go down. Here is the casts reaction when they read the script for the first time from Grey Matter, a blog by the writers of GA:

Ellen Pompeo shrieked “HOLY CRAP!” right in the middle of the reading. Katie Heigl started to cry somewhere around page 20. Sandra Oh just kept whispering “oh my gosh, oh my gosh, oh, oh, OH MY GOSH.”

It's gonna be good and most likely much more fun than any lame Super Bowl party. I can't wait to chat about it on Monday! Sunday can't get here fast enough (you will never hear me say that again, I like my Saturdays too much!)

I missed Veronica Mars this week, I really can't believe it. As many times as I say it I still have a hard time accepting it. Oh the horror! Missing VM was in no way my fault. I had a doctor's appointment at 4:20 Wed and didn't even think about it conflicting with VM. Well my doctor was running super late and I didn't walk out of there until 8:30 PM. Yep you heard that right folks. Luckily my dad tivoed it (I set it up on season pass, he has no clue) so I plan on watching it before the Super Bowl on Sunday. I haven't read anything about the episode and I'm very proud of that. So I will be commenting on Wed's episode of VM on Monday!

Unexpected and Hilarious!

So my tv watching lately hasn't been sub-par, I've just been busy with school, work and 4 hour doctor appointments (don't get me started!) I missed Veronica Mars and Project Runway because of my very, very late doctor. But the good news is that I caught a replay of Project Runway last night and it was the most hilarious episode yet. Hilarious might not be a word you often think of to describe Project Runway but this episode was. Santino was doing impressions of Tim Gunn the whole episode which was priceless. Apparently Santino has developed in his head this little relationship between Tim Gunn and Andrae and I guess they go to Red Lobster a lot and have just gone through the honeymoon period of their relationship. So Santino was imitating Tim and it was just so funny, he is so dead-on. Of course Tim confronted him about it (who spilled the beans) he thought it was funny but wanted to hear Santino do it. So for one episode Santino went from being evil and crazy to being funny and crazy. So anyway the challenge this week was to make an outfit out of plants and flowers. It was a really interesting challenge and all the dresses turned out well. Chloe asked the boys when they came out to their parents and Daniel V, my Daniel V, responded. He responded which of course means he is gay. I was so shocked! I totally pegged him as being straight. So that was a big shocker. The only guy in the competition who isn't gay was Daniel F which also shocked me. He just came across as gay to me. Call me crazy! Daniel V. won the challenge (his dress was really cute) and won immunity for the next challenge. Andrae got sent home, which makes sense, he and Kara (though I loved her dress this challenge) were probably the two worst overall. My guesses for the final three are Daniel V, Chloe and Nick. But hey anything can happen! The picture is of Tim Gunn skating with Emmit. Sorry this post is so long, I know none of you guys like this show but I just can't help it!

Grey's Anatomy Shocker!

Wow, what an episode! Was the audience supposed to know that Izzie had a kid? Was that revealed in season 1? I was pretty shocked but I thought it was obvious at the beginning of the episode that the story was going to go that way, or at least that sub-plot with Izzie. Also how awesome was that moment in the linen closet with Meredith and Derek, they so almost kissed. I totally thought it was going to happen, but of course it didn't. Darn! I also thought the doctor filling in for Dr. Bailey was hilarious and I loved how annoyed Cristina was with her. I hope though Burke and Cristina don't have problems because of Burke questioning the flesh-eating bacteria surgery. Yet another great episode from the Grey's crew! Next weeks episode is supposed to be mind-blowing, there is a code black in the hospital, what the heck is that! The episode is after the Super Bowl so you can't miss it, just don't change the channel!

Did anyone watch 24 last night? I finally got caught up on the 3 hours of 24 I missed and wasn't terribly thrilled at how the season was shaping up, but last night was a fantastic show. I have to admit I only half watched it (I was trying to get my internet connection to work at the same time) but the show really did a few loop de loops. What do you guys think about the new guys on the show? Connie Britton, Brady Corbet and of course Sean Astin? I have always liked Connie Britton and I think she is doing a great job. Brady Corbet is just a little too greasy for my tastes. And of course I hate Rudy's I mean hobbit man's I mean Sean Astin's character, he is such a pompous ass. I feel bad for Buchanan getting the boot in favor of punk Astin. Hopefully 24 will keep up with the quality of the episode that was on last night for the remaining episodes. If that happens it'll be a great season!
